February 1 Recordkeeping Deadline Approaching

On February 1 of each year, employers who are required to keep OSHA 300 Injury and Illness Recordkeeping Logs must compile the information on the OSHA Form 300A or an equivalent and post it in a conspicuous place or places where notices to employees are customarily posted. - This form must be posted from February 1 through April 30 of each year. - Employers with under 10 employees or in certain low-hazard industries are exempt - Contact us for assistance, or to determine whether you are exempt OSHA 300 Recordkeeping Forms (www.OSHA.gov). #osha #deadlines

2019 OSHA Fine Increase

Despite the government shutdown, the Federal Register has published the increased rates for OSHA fines for 2019. Penalties assessed after today, January 23, will follow the new penalty structure. Rates are reassessed every year based on inflation rates, no later than January 15. #osha #citations
