OSHA Maritime #7615 provided by OSHA-authorized trainer. This is a two day course - you must attend both days to receive your OSHA 10-Hour Maritime card. Cards are issued after course completion.

OSHA 10-Hour Shipyard Employment includes ship repairing, shipbuilding and shipbreaking and is required by NAVSEA 009-74: Repair and maintenance employees working aboard vessels, dry docks and piers shall have a valid 10 hour OSHA Maritime Shipyard Employment Course #7615...within 60 days of employment.

In a news release, OSHA issued updated instructions for inspectors of healthcare facilities, like hospitals or nursing homes. Citing recent statistics reporting nearly 50% of all injuries reported in the healthcare industry were due to overexertion or similar. OSHA is highlighting "musculoskeletal disorders related to patient or resident handling; bloodborne pathogens; workplace violence; tuberculosis and slips, trips and falls."
